Rachel L. Webb
Rachel was born in England but has lived in Spain since 1996. She enjoys writing, mainly about Spain, caring for Casa El Regüelo her holiday rental home and sharing her explorations of her adopted homeland and taking a few photos along the way.
She teaches English as a Foreign Language part -time and although she prefers writing to teaching she says it doesn't help improve her spoken Spanish, so she is trying to create a balance between the two. Her desire is to travel and explore the whole of Spain and its islands while researching the 91 Paradors en route.
Rachel contributes to various travel-related websites. She has won third-prize in the infohub Travel Writing competition, been short-listed twice in the UK´s ACW children's story competition and recently short-listed in the QuirkyGuide story competition.
Her current passion is working on her website about Andalucia and her blogs;
When not at the computer she can often be found in her garden with her chickens and making mosaics in the Spanish sunshine or plotting new walks for visitors from their holiday home.
